SHIPPING METHODS AND CHARGES
Alive Designs By Renate's shipping facility is located in Northern California, not far from San Francisco and Silicon Valley. This means that many of the western states can receive products in 1 or 2 business days via USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground or Fedex Ground shipping, and most of the US should receive product within 3 days via USPS Priority Mail or a week (or less) of ordering via Fedex Ground. Our system estimates the charge based on the estimated package weight and size, plus the destination location.
United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail shipping provides an estimated 1 to 3 day service to the entire US, including Alaska and Hawaii.
If you are ordering from outside the US, any country that we are legally allowed to ship to already have shipping rates for the major carriers. More information is available in the "WORLDWIDE SHIPPING" section below.
Shipping estimates are calculated based on the number of days from the date your order. If received after 1:30pm Pacific Time, your order may be shipped the next business day. These are just estimates, and are not guaranteed. The only guaranteed delivery option is Fedex Overnight and UPS Next Day Air. However, Overnight/Next Day packages may not depart from Alive Designs By Renate's shipping facility the same day the order is placed for a number of reasons, including high order volume and other factors, although priority is given to these orders. When estimating how soon your package will arrive via USPS, keep in mind that USPS doesn't move packages on Sundays and national holidays. When estimating UPS/FedEx arrival dates, keep in mind that UPS and FedEx generally do not move packages on Saturdays, Sundays or national holidays. If you need a Saturday delivery please call for a shipping quote.
SHIPPING INSURANCE
Shipping insurance may be included by the shipping company automatically, but even when included, we do not recommend relying on this insurance to cover your purchase. We partner with Route Shipping Insurance to offer low-cost shipping insurance on every package. It is possible for the shipping insurance to be removed during the checkout process. Keep in mind that removing the shipping insurance means that your package will likely not be insured.
Route Shipping Insurance handles all the hassles of filing insurance claims with shipping companies and will refund or replace your shipment quickly and easily.
SHIPPING CUTOFF TIMES
UPS/FedEx Air shipments are picked up from our location at 3:30pm Pacific Time (PT), so we must have your order before 1:30pm PT to give us a chance to process it for shipping out that day. USPS shipments are picked up before 4pm, so again, you will want to complete your order before 1:30pm PT. The earlier you can place your order, the better chance we have of shipping out the same day.
We do not process shipments on many weekends and holidays, so most orders placed after 1:30pm PT on Friday or the day before a major holiday will go out on the following business day.
If you are ordering products and you are having them shipped to anywhere close to the San Francisco Bay Area, select the cheapest shipping method. One day delivery is not guaranteed, but you will very likely receive the shipment in one day.

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING
AliveDesignsByRenate.com ships to every country in the world where we are legally allowed. We cannot ship to several countries due to trade bans.
When placing your order, if your country doesn't already have a shipping option listed, send us a message and let us know what country you're in. We'll add your country to our shipping system if possible.
Be aware that your country may have import duties, customs fees and extra local delivery charges that you will be responsible to pay. We cannot keep up on the many requirements of foreign governments in regards to import duties, customs fees and local delivery charges. If you are concerned about this, contact your country's authorities responsible for customs and importing products and local delivery.
When filling out customs paperwork, we state that the shipment is "Merchandise", that it is not a gift. Our system automatically states the product manufacturing origin and gives a value based on the total cost minus shipping charges. We cannot change anything on the customs forms.
SHIPPING ON YOUR SHIPPER ACCOUNT
If you wish AliveDesignsByRenate.com to ship via your shipper account, please add a note to your order including the information on your shipping company and shipping account number and add the shipping note to your cart. Next, follow through with the checkout process as normal. We commonly set up shipments for customers using this method for UPS and FedEx shipments.
